If you don't know the 1st thing about "making" a book, this event is for you! This is not about "writing" a book, but the actual physical creation of a book. I will walk you through the steps of creating your own book, journal or planner. We will discuss what print on demand is and where you can get it done. We will also discuss the different programs you can use to create your content. If you don't have content yet, this will be great to get the juices flowing. If you do have content, this will show you how to put it out there.

If you want to self publish a book, but your not sure what the "rules of publishing" are, this class is for you. I will walk you through the steps of researching your genre, finding your niche and pricing your book. Would you make more money on an e-book or does it need to be printed? How do you choose categories and key words? What should your cover look like? While Book Basics: Level 1 was about CREATING the book, this class will talk about how to go about SELLING the book. We will focus on a program called "KDP Rocket" which helps research the current selling trends of your book. We will also cover the basics of Amazon Ads.

I can't tell you how many times I have had an author ask me for a deadline in order to motivate them into finishing their book. This is kind of like that, but with a smaller goal and a smaller time-frame. At the beginning of the event everyone will set their goal. It could be for writing a chapter, two chapters, three blog articles, your author bio and book cover blurb, etc. If, by the end of the event, you have made your goal you get half of your money back.

Public speaking can be hard. This workshop is for those people who get mild anxiety from public speaking or really just want to keep their speaking wheels greased. We will work on impromptu speaking and you will not need to prepare anything ahead of time. This workshop is meant to be fun and you should go in prepared to laugh at yourself and with others.
